Kōkiri Marae Cancer Navigation Service – Here to Support Whānau

Kōkiri Marae Cancer Navigation is a free kaupapa Māori service to support Māori whānau through every stage of the cancer journey.

Our service is available to Māori whānau living in the Te Awakairangi (Lower and Upper Hutt) rohe.

We support whānau who may be:

  • At high risk of a cancer diagnosis

  • Navigating initial concerns or waiting for results

  • Recently diagnosed and needing tautoko through treatment and appointments

Our experienced navigators walk alongside whānau, advocating and supporting through post-diagnosis clinical appointments, ongoing conversations with specialists, and access to treatment pathways.

Contact our navigators directly:

Rach Lauina – 022 555 6985

Atawhai Brown-Hosie – 022 451 0989

Or, contact the main Kōkiri office on 04 939 4630

This is a free, whānau-centred service grounded in manaakitanga, whakapapa, and aroha. Please share with anyone who may need support.

Mauri tū, Mauri ora.
